Sign a midfielder now you cheap cunts!

Don't be saying stuff like that around here, you'll have the FSG brigade on you're case. After all they've built a new stand and new training ground.

Who needs new players when you have a bigger ground with still zero chance of getting tickets.

They have facilitated the loan so arguably we have built the training ground and new stand

If no midfielder comes in before the transfer window shuts we'll struggle to make top 6, never mind top 4!

Get your hands in your pockets you FSG cunts, Klopp has given you an extra 2 years, now give the man some funds!

If Luis Alberto goes to Sevilla then that makes it a £2/3m profit. If Konate had not been injured the club would probably have sold Nat Phillips also. Also shifted a load of players off the wage bill.

So a new sponsorship deal, the Nike deal, most of the training ground paid for by AXA, a new stand generating an extra £25m a season which has been there for 6 years.

Champions League money for 5 years, 3 of which were finals (£100m) and then the most money from the domestic TV deal. Won 2 cups last season playing every single game. But there's just no money available to buy a midfielder around £40m.

Suppose there was, who would you like us to buy with those 40 million that would immediately strengthen our starting midfield (or become our 4th choice MF)?

The redbird money was for Fenway sports group not LFC. They just cashed in some shares.

Yeah I am aware of that but as the value of the group is heavily influenced by our value, our proportion should have headed into the club imo as otherwise they are indirectly making money off the club and the inference of "we don't put any money in but we don't take any money out" is for the birds imo.

The value of LFC would be less than half of the groups, maybe closer to a third depending on what you think the club is worth.

Yeah, I think it was around 33% but still amounts to a significant amount of money considering how big the Redbird deal was
