I think you’re underestimating just how good Owen was. European footballer of the year. Drogba was ace too of course.

Alan Mullery and Archie Gemmell were really good players. You make it sound like they were Nigel Quashie or Hayden Mullins. You mentioned trophies in one of your posts, loads of great players from the past won relatively few.
