Good group this. It's Like That and Nothing Compares for me. The pure emotion in Sinead O'Connor in that video is unreal.

Voted for the Gotye video, absolutely love what they did with the paint. The song kinda reminds of of Genesis/Peter Gabriel too.

 

Also Lily Allen, another clever one.

 

The Sinead O'connor video does my head in, who wants to look at her coupon for 3 minutes? Reminds me of having to get up off the couch to turn The Chart Show off when I was a kid. Must've been at number one for about six years, a fucking dirge.

Don't see the fuss with the OK Go videos, I've watched three of them now and find them more annoying than anything else. The music is complete and utter dross as well, which doesn't help.

The music is shit but the videos are decent (except the one in the first group, just weird) . 

 

The Gotye one is clever, reminds me of an 80's video. The off-putting thing is seeing his manky foot at the beginning. He looks like he should be one of the Baseball Furies.

The Lily Allen video reminds me too much of the South Park Woodland Critters. There's something smug about the OK Go videos - style over content? So O'Connor and then I'm stuck: going with It's Like That though admit the Gotye video is original.

Gotye is clearly the best thing here. I'm not a fan of that OK Go one - technically excellent, as you'd expect, but it lacks the charm of their best vids. Still, it gets a vote ahead of the dreck.
