We scored 3, they scored 1. We took our chances,  they fluffed theirs. Weve gone to London, won a semi and are back there putting pressure on City. Maybe our legs fell off a bit, maybe we're missing Salah, Mane, Keith and Thiago. Maybe I don't give a fuck as long as we win. The fume from that will be fantastic. They can all cry me a fucking river. Up the shithousing, winning again, Reds

As for the pen...its a pen.

If you take the man out without touching the ball and clearly prevent him getting to the ball that he has just knocked past you - that is a pen.

He probably couldn't have got a good shot off if he'd got to it but he clearly would have been able to touch the ball again afterwards but for the contact from the keeper - so it is a pen.

Spurs are well in the mix for second if they win today. I think the extent to which Conte has turned them around already has gone under the radar somewhat.

Nah City will get 2nd Tottenham 3rd or 4th with Chelsea getting visa versa.

I dont think it was a question of running on fumes or tired legs, we looked fine, matching them stride for stride the whole game. The only times they outpaced us at the back is when they beat the offside.

We were making poor decisions all over the pitch and playing poor balls needlessly losing possession.

Jurgen needs to start fining players a week's wage every time they try a back heel in a game unless they score with it!

But it's 3 points and thankfully not 2 dropped.

City struggled against Arsenal but nicked it at the end and it was a sign of champions, we struggled a bit today but we won it in the end but we're lucky according to Sky, agenda driven fuckers.

We were told the AFCON period would be vital , and we have managed to win every game ( counting Arsenal as a 2 leg tie ) so I am not getting on their case for looking a bit leggy as the game went on. Well done boys and a nice little break / mini pre-season before Cardiff.

The lethargy was completely understandable but the amount of times we have let teams back in to the game after going 2-0 up is clearly a problem. Hopefully a midfield of Thiago and Fabinho will solve that if we get if for the remainder of the season. And Matip needs to stop staying up all night watching AFCON.
