A lot of my favourites have already been mentioned in here.

 

I grew up watching loads of comedy on telly as a kid. Sunday nights at 10pm was always essential viewing for me with Hale & Pace, Spitting Image and The New Statesman.

 

If I was pushed to name one I'd have to say Rik Mayall. He was incredibly funny in every comedy turn he did.
