Well, what do you want people to say? The club have been great with attacking signings under Klopp and Klopp is obviously a huge part of that, so they deserve some trust, but there's not much to go by. The majority of people here don't watch the Portuguese League, nor is the Portuguese League really competitive. So, it's wait and see.

I raised the point more or less first thing this morning on Salah. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to question this given we’re spending a small fortune on somebody in a similar position.

 

Diaz plays primarily on the left, but we’ve seen that Mane is able to play on the right just as comfortably.

 

Are we getting Mo’s replacement in early or is Diaz going to compete with Mane for a starting role? 
 

Talk of Mane’s demise is over exaggerated. He’s a level down his 18-20 form but he’s still significantly contributed this season. 

 

IMO, Firmino is the guy with no future role now. IMO, Jota has taken his role in the first team and Mo & Mane can also play number 9.

On a serious note, I hope we get this done. He looks good and seems the right age to gradually replace one of Salah, Firmino or Mané. Given the physical nature of the Premier League, I wouldn’t be surprised if Klopp adopted his tactic of holding him back for a bit and getting him adjusted to how we play etc.
