How can you not get a bet down on Maverick McNealy?

I don't want to go look, as I'm picturing someone out of a Zane Gray novel, and he'll turn out to be just another cookie-cutter pastel-panted Judge-Smails-in-the-making.

Part James Garner and part former Wrexham player Dixie McNeill. With just a touch of martial arts skill thrown in.

Looks like th draw has favoured the early starters yesterday & late starters today.  Both times they have had the best, most favourbale conditions.  Lanky streak of piss Zalatoris making the most of it.  Mullet Smith also as usual in amongst the mix in majors.  Hopefully the next two days will be more like day 1 and tougher for those teeing off later bringing the field closer together.

Thomas played the toughest conditions both days and seems to be well in control of game.

Zalatoris, impressed again, only a matter or time for him. Weather could still play a part.

some no mark running away with it. pretty crap tournament so far tbh

Could have been much further away than he is. -10, dropped all the way back to -6, then climbed again to -9, three clear. There’s every chance of him falling away later and us having a Major Sunday on our hands.

Most golf tournaments are pretty crap until Sunday, which is when shit gets tense.

  • 2 weeks later...

Gnashers first lesson to those learning to play golf.

No matter how badly you've shanked or hooked the shot simply ignore where you've hit the ball and look purposely towards the green to the area the ball was intended to land. This lesson is perfectly demonstrated by the player below.
