I love 1980s motorsport, memories of watching it with my nan. One I’ve always liked is US Drag racing from that era, the coverage would have loads of great music to help the programmes flow along, It’s the sort of thing the Americans do well, with all the hype etc.

 

This got me thinking to other sports. Can you pick out any good background music to your favourite live sports footage or documentaries from around that time? Can be intros like Grandstand too.
