I'm not trying to stop you from posting about it, not going to believe the way you're framing it though. You've been against unvaxxed protests for months if I remember rightly, no way believing your negative take on it even if you were visiting the area daily.

 

Still think you should go and watch some hockey though, and maybe get some free food while you're there too. But that's part of the problem isn't it? If you did that you'd see that it's not so bad, and that's forbidden.

 

I'm not trying to make out like they're all perfect and nothing wrong can possibly have occured, it's a protest that's been going on for days with thousands of people involved, it'd be almost impossible for that to be the case. It's nothing like some of the stupid shit we saw last year from our own protesters though, where right wingers would turn up and start scuffling with cops as if it was the whole aim of the journey.

 

It's no way the terror that the media paint it as. They're going completely over the top and it'll be way worse if it takes place in the US too, it'll be painted as the Jan 6th "coup" part 2, even if they're peacefully protesting. They'll probably be wanting to sanction Russia for it too if it happens, because the first instinct when they're shown up for the clowns that they are is to deflect.

I don't think I've extensively commented on any protests against vaccines or mandates or what have you besides this one. You know why? Because I know about this one, I'm 10 minutes away.

The worst thing is, I'm not even intrinsically for mandates. But some of these people are such low life scum, they're impossible to root for as an objective observer. It's the lowest of the low dickheads, Karens, frustrated losers with a chip on their shoulder. Truckers make a small minority. I may feel for some of their gripes but it's border policy between the US and Canada. There's probably nothing to be done.

I've seen a swastika and a few confederate flags, also a protester on video calling out one of the confederate flag guys, who had his face hidden and then walked off. It's clearly impossible that he could've been planted there, I mean Trudeau would clearly be above anything like that.

 

I've seen accounts of people harrassing some at a soup kitchen but I haven't seen any footage of it. If you have footage of a homeless guy being beaten up then I'd really like to see it, then I could try and find out more of what's gone on there if I can.

 

I've seen someone standing on the tomb of the unknown soldier and screaming, I agree that that's retarded. There's also the statue of Terry Fox that was "defaced" by having a Canadian flag put on it and a sign saying "he will not divide Canada", and I've later seen footage of protesters looking after that same statue and cleaning it up. I've also seen footage of people sweeping ice off the roads and collecting litter.

 

Most of the negative stuff is still bullshit though I think.

 

Why don't you get out of your own mom's basement and go and record some footage of these violent fascists taking over Ottawa? Then we'd have proof from our man on the ground. I bet you'd not find much wrong though.
