Easily the best defensive gameplan we've faced all season. They haven't let us attack quickly at all and we've exposed their backline one time. 

 

It got a bit better once the centre backs stopped giving them the ball back every time, but then the forwards' decision making hasn't been good also.

What's trent turning his back for there like an under 10? We've had 2 brilliant chances to score and usually we create loads in it doesn't matter if we miss them. Not today lads. We need to take the next one that comes along. This wolves side is extremely defensive. Defending with 8 and attacking with 3. Very Brentford ish

Our players are clearly shaken by the continual chants of "Bruno Lage's barmy army". It's hard to play in that kind of atmosphere.

If we do the same 2nd half then I'm confident we'll win this.

How I expected this would go. Wolves are very difficult to break down. Only City and Chelsea have conceded less goals than them this season.

 

We need some magic from somewhere to unlock them.

Not the best first half against a team that is happy to park the bus and focus on defending. And are far better organized defensively than the dross we faced on Wdenesday.

 

Fabinho and Thiago have been very good, and also think Jota has played well. Robertson very disappointing again, he struggles against teams that defend deep. Still could and should’ve had an assist.

 

Henderson has been good over the last few games, not so today. If someone could tell him to fuck off all those little chips and lobs he’d be a better player I reckon.

Hmmm. If this lot score, we're going to be in real trouble today. The wind isnt helping but bloody hell, Sadio is a passenger again.

 

We're rushing the passes at the wrong moment too often and way too many passes arent accurate enough.

 

Not certain whether Mo just wasnt strong enough or coady went through him to clear that chance on the goalline but, Mo's just got to make sure that goes in from that distance.

 

Jota close with a header just the wrong side of the post but other than that,  we've had the majority of play and not done much with it. Alli didnt look at all convincing late on with the wolves chance either.

 

I think 1 goal wins this so dont fucking conceed boys.

The Jota header and Trent chance was just pure quality when Wolves still had men behind the ball. Those were half chances. 

 

When Robertson got in behind was the one time we exposed them.
