The British are weird. Always feel the same about the mancs singing about council houses and all the rest. It's s hellhole.

I realise obviously football is incredibly partisan but when you live in a town decimated by Tories and you're singing about another one being decimated by Tories...I don't know, just all feels a bit depressing.

He has the odd great game and he has a few ok games scores a few goals but he's no where near the player he was 18 months ago. Remember everytime he got the ball you'd be on the edge of your seat not so much now.

Hes had an okey season so far, but far from the player two years ago, at that time he was probably the best and defenders backed of him all of the time. Now they usually just stand still and he runs into them.

When he went off, the commentator on the Premier League channel said "He didn't get his goal" As if he ever gets his goal. He's got one measly assist this season, with 15 games gone.

7 Premier League goals in 165 appearances.

I think he has 3 or 4 against City just from catching them for pace down the middle from the halfway line. Against more defensive teams he basically doesn't score. He'd be a terrible signing for a top club who can't just use his pace on the counter.

What a result that was.  Wolves played well, though that Traore lad looks like he's been given a run out in a sport that isn't really his.

A miss from Jota that could pass into legend, and several other poor decisions with goal scoring chances, notably from Salah and Robertson, meant that once again we relied on Origi to bail us out, which he did expertly.

After unusually excellent midweek performances, one or two settled back down to what could be regarded as their usual level.   This doesn't matter too much if chances are taken elsewhere, and it doesn't matter to the team shape as long as we have Fabinho and Thiago in midfield.

Matip looks convincing and effective running forward, at least until the point where he stops and has a think.  He's looking like the CB with most confidence at the moment, after VVD made some uncharacteristically bad decisions again.

Still, no matter.  The result was everything today.  Man of the match:  Thiago.  Bossed the midfield as usual, won the ball throughout the game, played the ball quickly and usually forward.  What a player.

I hope Jiminez and the ball boy savoured their little bout of timewasting head tennis which added a couple of minutes on.

Hahaha I was losing the plot at that stage.

I could take the defeat to West Ham we didn’t play well they did and they’d plenty of chances you can take a defeat and move on.

Not winning that game today after the chances we had and the time wasting and pricking around they did would have been much harder to take.
What a way to win when they’d added all that extra time on themselves.

The time wasting is frustrating, but I'm kind of used to those shithouse tactics now, some teams need to resort to that to get anything against us.

But when that cunt went into the advertising boards and summoned the last of his energy to get himself back onto the pitch before collapsing again, then I wanted blood.

Yip my man of the match great pairing with Fab, was pushing us forward the whole match. Sort of player you always think is a luxury  but with his possession , pressing and energy he is fast becoming a necessity  in our midfield .

The amount of times he not only wins a 50/50 or nicks the ball but also directs it into the most dangerous position is unreal.
