How will we tell if he's stressed? He's already a bald twat.

As for fearing him, well I'm sure they'll improve but the state they are in at the moment, I'm more worried about Newcastle United than I am Manchester.

Fuck 'em both.

So is he the real deal. He's got some shit to sort through first that's for sure.

Yep. Unless they are a complete disaster in his first season, along the lines of Solakjaer this season, they need to stick with him.

They need to be prepared for the fact that results might get worse before it gets better. I know they are poor at the moment but they just look like they don’t give a shit, which is worse, IMO.

If they are at least putting the effort in but results are inconsistent, they need to remain patient.

The question is how patient they’ll be. There will certainly be an expectation to be challenging for honours in the second season.

They're still screwed, he won't get long enough and they'll continue to make disconnected transfers on an isolated commercial basis rather than simply being a sporting decision. They won't tolerate someone genuinely challenging the status quo and given that this is really his first big job post Ajax how willing will he be to really shake things up? Fergusons influence still lingers over them.

In many ways their guaranteed huge income irrespective of what they achieve will continue to work against them.

They should also put Overmars in as Director of Football.

He's only been in the job a few hours and they're Man Utd-ing it up already.

If they have pushed back on his first decision that doesn’t exactly bode well for him. He might get his way but it’s pretty undermining to have to fight for it.
