Not a fan of risking some of these in a nothing game...but there you go.

Liverpool: Alisson, Williams, Matip, Konate, Tsimikas, Morton, Thiago, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Salah, Minamino.

Subs: Adrian, Kelleher, Fabinho, Van Dijk, Milner, Henderson, Jota, Robertson, Origi, Phillips, Alexander-Arnold.

Players can just as easily get injured in training. It’s a sellout and Klopp is never going to send out a team of stiffs. Get a few goals up and then look at making a few substitutions.

He’ll have no problem sending out a much worse side in both domestic cups.  Spinning this as jurgens call is nearly as laughable as when people tell you it’s his choice to spend a fraction of what we earn.

Never bought this argument about players getting injured in training.

Of course they can, but where it falls down for me is training has to happen, you don't have to play your best players in a game that has absolutely nothing riding on it....especially when your squad is already stretched and ahead of what is going to be a dead busy period.

This will be interesting. Assuming Origi still sick and Jota with a knock (no surprises) Taki gets the nod.
That midfield will be under pressure second half if the game is close. Looking forward to observing the young lad. Stevie Mac speaks highly of him. Big shoulders to fill this evening. No Trent seriously weakens our RHS, but hopefully Mo gets chances to take.
