Fuck it. Move on and forget about it. Plenty of points to play for yet.

Exactly, we will be there or there abouts at the end of the season. City will drop points Chelsea at the minute look good it's wether they can keep it up all season.

City have a midfield at the peak of the powers. David Silva & Fernandinho were replaced by Rodri, Foden, Grealish coming through. Bernardo resurgent as well. We've got a 35 year old James Milner and players like Curtis Jones & Oxlade who wouldn't make a mid-table PL starting 11 knocking about the place. We're not in that conversation anymore, and nor should we be with these players.

Our midfield options are not all that suitable for how we choose to play...we really need legs in there and don't have a lot and we need players who can control tempo/retain ball....we have  one obvious player who can do that, but we haven't seen enough of him so far this season.

We don't play in midfield at all too often - it is just a vehicle to get ball to forwards/advanced players as quickly as possible, great when it works, but really not great when it does not as ball comes back at us with us wide open.

To be honest, I was far less annoyed by the loss than I was by watching us pass it round the defence for the last five minutes of the ninety when we needed to try to force the issue. Well, that and Carragher, who I would happily drop into a hole in the ground and fill it with cement.

Absolutely clueless. How can you get countered down the middle at 1-1 and the constant passing into the middle of the park when all their players were occupying that space, was baffling. Sometimes you've just got to put your hands up and realise footballers are thick.

Have you seen Henderson play before?  We need two really good midfielders to carry him.  One isn’t enough.

Are you cherry picking the 3 Thiago matches where he didn't lose possession constantly?

He will lose possession more than the likes of Henderson.  Shall I tell you why that is?  Hell also make more blocks, win more tackles and more headers than Henderson as well.

He was shocking. Country mile our worst player, even though Ali was rubbish for their goals. Klopp is stubbornly sticking with him when he needs a prolonged stint on the bench.

We've a better player on the bench who started the Season in sublime form only to be dropped for the shit Robertson is turning in every week.  It's bonkers hamstringing yourself over stubborn loyalty.

Yup. Nobody should be too upset. This has been very obvious since the opening game of the season. Chelsea and City fixtures at Anfield showed us where we're at. It is the worst midfield since Klopp joined the club.

It's nearly four years since our Champions League victory against Spurs. In that time, we haven't bought a single player that has taken the opportunity to cement themselves into our first eleven.

When did we sign Elliot...

We've stagnated whilst City and Chelsea have strengthened. FSG need to sell up or spend some of OUR money.

Alisson cost us 3 goals but Robertson was our worst player!

Robertson also put a great ball into Mane that he should have scored from I suppose it’s his fault Mane missed it as well.

Agenda driven nonsense opinion.

I'm sick of Henderson, to be honest. I see Trent and Robertson making runs when Henderson has the ball, and he always plays it 5 yards to the side. Must've happened about ten times during that game. If you can't play a 30-yard cross-field ball then get out of our team. This is a shithouse free zone.

Huh?

He was awful - he chalked up 9 crosses, 1 of them hit the mark.

You’re wasting your time mate, it’s fashionable to blame Thiago.

He’s one of the players in Europe that has the most progressive passes, on here he’s accused of playing it sideways.

He plays it first or second time more than almost any other player, on here he’s labelled slow and dwelling on the ball.

Despite the facts you’re listing, on here he makes us soft and weak in the middle.

He’s a brilliant player that needs to stay fit, but a surprisingly high number of people just prefer to harp on about something they heard a lazy pundit say a year ago. Even if it’s blatantly wrong.
