Can Martin Samuel get any lower?

I really dont know how this 'man' keeps his job as a writer, never mind so called chief sports writer on a paper.

His favourite hobby horse as we all know, is that owners should be allowed to funnel as much of their own money into a club without restriction. How the money comes to the owners in the first place, whether through porn, ill gotten gains or just accident of birth as in the case ofthe owners of PSG, manchester city and now newcastle united, is of no consequence to samuel. It's their money and they can do what they want with it. The cunt will be welcoming drug barons to the PL next.

All this accomplished so others can buy the 'dream' of a successful club and buy a seat at the top table with what he calls 'legacy' clubs. To you and me, that's clubs who have been successful ever since the football league was formed in 1888. Being a top club  because you have displayed sporting excellence over the course of your history is to be sneered at.

But, in his effort to both ridicule those opposed to the Saudi take over of newcastle and sanitise it, he stoops so low as to now play the race card with the headline 'Why is saudi money worse than cash from a bunch of white Americans?'

Seriously? I dont suppose the fact that the majority of people are appalled that these owners suffocated a guy by putting a plastic bag over his head then cut him up, put the bits in bin bags and disposed of them such that no one has found them? Oh, and the guy happened to be the same profession as you, samuel, a journalist?

Utter contemptible twat.

That is actually an amazing headline.

"Why is Saudi money worse than cash from a bunch of white guys in America?"

I mean, it's probably all the murders and stuff, right? That's got to be it. Henry and the Glazers are hardly beacons of moral virtue, but I don't see any accusations that they're actually murdering people.

Probably the worst of all the national writers, and he's always been an absolute cunt.

The worst moment of my life was a few years ago when I'd grown a bit of a beard and @RedKnight said I looked like Martin Samuel. We lost the Champions League Final that night, but that wasn't half as bad as the feeling I had when he made that comment.

He's an enabler just like the lawyers and politicians who allow these deals to happen, he is actively involved in sports washing. I wouldn't be surprised if the daily mail and their ilk have taken money from the UAE and the Saudis just like Facebook, Disney, Netflix, Uber and loads of other Western companies to the tune of over a billion dollars.

Because he's financially incentivised to do so, it is pretty clear. Look that grubby state of a man up and down, read into his history, and ask yourself really whether a man like he would not be taking financial incentives to peddle the various lines he has through his career?

Why is Newcastle's Saudi money deemed worse than cash from a bunch of white guys in America? | Daily Mail Online

Probably beneficial if we can see the original article.

Surprised Martin didn't point out that we take to the field in shirts emblazoned with the logo of a bank that laundered money for Iran, Syria, Sudan and a whole bunch of other unsavoury regimes. It would have strengthened his argument.

Not like you to be a contrary bellend.

Not sure what is contrary about pointing out that Samuel neglected to include something that would have strengthened his argument.

Yep fair one, I misread it. Not contrary. I admire you condoning any backing of murderous regimes. Apologies x
