I'm tired, but to miss the Match of the Day highlights on such an occasion would be unforgivable...

Ive had a wonderful lunch with Mrs RiB, then the game, and Ive had a couple of malts. I should go to bed as I have a very busy day tomorrow, but MOTD it is. Tomorrow can take care of itself.

Having watched the game back now I have to say the majority of Utd fans were scumbags - booing and not applauding a player being stretchered off the pitch. Classless twats. A few did show some decency though.

They're the worst fans in the world bar none. There's no respect for them from any major fanbase anywhere.

Today should be a massive wake-up to United.  This is the first time in many years they've had their failings underlined so emphatically.

They've not won the league in years but been under an illusion they were 1 or 2 big signings from a return to the big time.

They should thank us for this beating, a beating that could have been substantially bigger of we didn't take a rest for the final 30 mins.

Learn from it or don't, we prefer you don't, but you aren't in any relevant conversation we have about what trophies we can win this season or next.  That's the truth.

Focusing back on us, Christ, what a difference having our CB's back make. Last season was a joke.

I keep saying it: they, united, are where we were from the mid 1990s to before Jurgen came. The once dominant club \ team trying to hang onto the leading clubs of the day coattails and believing one or two inspirational signings will see the good times back.

Hopefully, the hope kills them.

The difference is we were trying to compete back then by making a top signing maybe every third season. They buy whoever they want at whatever price is asked. And if one superstar doesnt work they just buy two more. With all that money it’s unbelievable that they’re no better than they are. Hopefully they’ll keep Ole in charge for as long as possible, and then fuck up with the next manager as well.

Imagine leaving Luke Shaw as the only man on Salah, a player who routinely scores when double or triple marked. Mental.

They believe their own bullshit so much.

That Pogba tackle was a proper Funes Mori effort, the fraudulent twat.

And grinning as he left the pitch. Fucking scumbag.

Looking forward to MoTD and the first "Take nothing away from Liverpool but..."

I rarely watch MOTD these days so was quite surprised by the way they edited it - they really tried to flatten out the differences in terms of chances etc. And that commentaator sounded even worse than Martin Tyler - every time we scored he was immediately suggesting it might be ruled out by VAR, yet when Ronaldo got the ball in the net he seemed stunned that VAR ruled against it!

They also played canned applause over the shot of Keita being stretchered off, even though in reality there were few Utd fans clapping and quite a few booing him because Shithair had been red carded.
