Whilst he will undoubtedly bag few goals, Ronaldo has become a massive millstone for them.

You can't tell me that Ole signs Sancho and then decides himself to go getvthe rapist. Also, why keep him on? I was more happy to see Greenwood, Rashford and Fernandes get hooked whilst he's left on the pitch to stroll around in a game that's long gone. Why not take him off and give him a rest, manage his games etc? Why? Because he's probably not allowed to.

Anyway fuck them and fuck Tyler the fucking prick, we were awesome today and could have scored more, I said before the game there were too many negative ninnies on here and to see how the team do first before doubting them.

Hangover for tomorrow is in the post.

They were playing with 10 men and had two 35 year olds up top.

Down 4-0 and bring on Pogba for Greenwood. Shheeessh.

Well I've had worse days.  I hate watching our games against them. We were very efficient. They were terrible. Was a bit concerned with Fabinho not playing but needn't have bothered.  Probably Keita's best performance for us before that dirty twat took him out. I look forward to seeing how MOTD make the game look quite even. Oh & get that Salah contract signed tomorrow FFS

Salah defies logic, as a betting man.

I mean, yes he scores lots of goals but at the outset of today's game I'm thinking "ok, he plays on the right and United will put two on him, and he's likely to create space for others to score, ergo, I won't bet on him to score today".

But...there he is, left alone at the far post, it defies belief and logic for him to find the space and time to take a shot, let alone beat De Gea.

He's unbelievable, and apparently Chelsea didn't see that in him, but looking back at his Chelsea goals you CAN see it, which makes it all the more extraordinary he was let go.

I don't want him to go anywhere else, and he won't find the same form anywhere else, this club is magic and if he wants to win the Balon D'Or then he's going to do it here a couple of times.  If he goes to Madrid, for example, then he's going to struggle to adapt to a team that doesn't transition like we do, that doesn't press like we do, and you can tell he loves how this team is set-up.

As an aside, I didn't like the Jones/Mane relationship.  Perhaps Jones shows his immaturity by ignoring Mane as a passing option after he gets ignored.

I think the problems there go deeper than the manager and it was summed up by signing Ronaldo this summer. A panic buy of a 36 year old goal hanger, with an ego the size of Buckingham Palace and getting enormous wages, when they are well supplied with talented young forwards. The crying need was for improved quality in midfieldwhere the likes of Fred, McTominay and co wouldn't be tolerated at City, Chelsea or us. Someone at Old Trafford thought Harry Maguire was worth more than Virgil Van Dijk. I saw Maguire in his league one days at Sheffield United and I thought he was slow and cumbersome. I've never had cause to change my opinion.

Agree on Maguire, he's not top class level.

In the round, there's no ethos behind the tactics, but that's the sort of thing that comes with a proper manager being given time.  Soldkjaer isn't that person, and I hope they overlook that for some time to come, but investing time in him will drag them further and further back.

They have a collection of players that are world class but only when playing for different teams with different styles.  And that's their problem, the players were bought on name not on the ability to fit into a team style.  Because there isn't one.
