They should’ve disallowed the first goal but fuck they could’ve easily been two goals ahead. Our entire back four has been pretty poor. Virgil is a fair bit off his commanding best still.

If they didn't get that gift of a goal that should have been rulled out we wouldn't have shit ourselves or them get the momentum shift.

Opened up far too easily after going into the lead. Getting between the man and the goal is a basic skill and too many of ours are being run past because they won’t adhere to that. There’s nobody exempted from that either, Virgil was turned completely the wrong way when Griezeman went past him to score the second.

Alisson has prevented us from conceding another two, but there’s a need for more cover in midfield as they’re running through us because of a lack of pace from Milner and Hendo and apart from the goal, Keita hasn’t added much if anything.

Since we scored our second we’ve hardly threatened, which is disappointing to say the least, and our usual build up play has been negated by their dropping and playing a back five, which is exactly how they have played against us previously.

Some changes required to get out of this with a draw or, hopefully, a win but this is where Klopp earns his corn when presented with this kind of problem.

You know Keita has been bad when RAWK locks his thread ….Then again it’s RAWK ….

Fucking state of that shower.

Grown men/women stopping other grown men/women from expressing their opinions about football on an internet football forum by locking threads.

Fucking whoppers.

Massively disappointing to be going in at half time level after that great start. Atletico hardly got a kick in the first 20 minutes.  A great piece of work by Mo and he thought he'd scored. Milner stuck a foot out and got the last touch so I wonder if there'll be a discussion in the dressing room?

What a great strike by Keita. Pity the lad doesnt do it more often.

But fucking hell, what is our defence playing at? Not sure who it was that allowed the Atleti player to just get past him on the bye line from that corner, you cant just let the player run up the line like that. Even so it could be argued a player was in an offside position as he had to jump out of the way of the ball. After a long VAR check yet another scummy Atleti goal against us.

We've seem to back off an awful lot after that goal and Atelit accepted the invitation. I think it was Felix who was allowed to run at us then found Griezeman who put it in the net. Shocking defending.

There were a few more mixs up. I think Matip on the halfway line wasnt aware of an Atleti player on the win just in his own half who ran onto the ball. Only a block by Alli saved us going behind. Then the 3 of Alli, van Dijk and Matip decided to play ping pong with the ball just outside the box. If it wasnt for Alli being in the way, they'd have been in on an undefended goal.

Sadio has got nothing from the ref after his petulent needless shove on Trippier in the first few minutes. We need to go again and tighten up at the back.

Our midfield has been chronic in helping out. Van Dijk and matip were horrendous for the second one and our heads have gone completely. Anytime they defend its like a brick house. When we try,its like a Swiss cheese house. Fucking holes everywhere. Fabinho was a huge mistake not to play. I hope klopp read them the riot act at half time. Van Dijk milner and Henderson on the pitch and we lost total control there. How many captains have we on, mane salah van dijk robbo Henderson. Thank fuck for Allison

Keita - unsurprisingly.

Poor from Keita on the first goal. The second one is just as much on Hendo, Matip (especially) and Van Dijk though.

Henderson (especially) and Henderson had worse halves than Keita. I'd have taken off Milner instead of Keita, not in the game at all after the opening 20.

These are the games where Henderson goes missing.  He doesn't want the ball, and he won't put a foot in.

Madrid have clearly watched a few of our games this season.  Sweep a ball over A-A's head, and we're fucked.  I'd have Jota on as well - his movement and ball retention is far better than Firmino, and he offers more of a threat.
