Adele is just bland, absolutely nothing to her music at all. So its obvious as to why it's so popular, as a lot of people like safe music that they don't have to analyse too much.

In terms of an image change though, surely losing about 20 stone is about as radical as it gets?

Kings of Leon's first two albums were boss. They are in no way comparable to the dirge that is The Kaiser Chiefs. Kings of Leon's singer can actually sing and their lead guitar player plays some good solos. Also, before they went for the All Saints poser look, they looked like Creedance Clearwater Revival. 

 

 

Kaiser Chiefs looked like a bunch of Student Union bores and every song had a chorus of "Ohhhhhh". Just pure shit.
