My prediction is five points for Europe. Won’t be enough to retain the cup but will restore a little pride.

Had a silly bet to keep it interesting.

Silly bet indeed, why not rather give those £16 to a homeless guy?

Looking at the singles matches only emphasises how mismatched the two teams are.  USA haven't been that good they've just played steady golf & made crucial putts while most of the European players just simply haven't turned up.

Course looks a belter, proper punishing if you miss the targets. IMO how championship golf courses should be, a proper test and not just a birdie fest.

I think Europe will do very well to get 4 points from the singles matches

btw Dechambeau looks like an absolute spaz when he drives it.

Gone through and predicted all 12. Six of them ties, six of them favourites (5 yanks + Rahm)

£1 just makes it to Paddy Power’s £1m max payout.

Then selected seven of the matches to be ties on another £1 bet which returns £530,000

Covered all the bases. This time tomorrow I’ll be minted.

“There's not a lot that can change my legacy in golf,” Harrington said.

“Even if I went and won another major, would it change anything? Three, four majors? Certainly winning another tournament is nice but it's not anything more than just winning another tournament.

"Being Ryder Cup captain would be very high on my CV...this is important to me and very important if I can be a winning Ryder Cup captain away.

"It's an exceptionally big deal and it adds a lot to my legacy."
