Beans in the omelette? I’m intrigued……however surely you could just put a big dollop of them on the side and still enjoy the glorious bean juice too? Cheesy omelette and juicy beans. Wonderful.

Yeah, I thought the same. Beans go very well with eggs and cheese but they've no place inside the omelette.

This thread made me want cheese on toast for my dinner, but when I went into the fridge there was only a tiny bit of cheese left. It was that small that it had no business being in the fridge at all.

I can't imagine only having one type of cheese in the fridge. Sort it fucking out.

We had halloumi but that’s not exactly ideal for cheese on toast. I went the shop yesterday and came back with a small packet of Red Leicester and my bird looked at me like I was a tit. I said I’d wanted cheese on toast but there was no cheese, so she reached into the back of the fridge and pulled out a huge unopened block of Red Leicester that had been there all along. She was right. I am a tit.

You can't have enough cheese.

Cheese on toast for dinner today, and no mistake.

I’ve also got crackers and pickled onions which will do for a snack when I get home from the soccer at midnight tonight.

As dinner means lunch up north and tea down south you better have it at both mealtimes to make sure

Cheese on toast for dinner, taking the boy to Subway in Norwich later so cheese on that sandwich, then cheese and crackers upon my return.

Cheese.

Next Monday night's lineup update on Turdseye's Football XI:

Captain is unavailable. Illness is the official reason given by the club but insider rumours have hinted at "A touch of gout"
