I only knew Young Hearts Run Free going into this so gave them all a listen. Was tempted by the familiar but went with Waiting for Superman. Incidentally The Flaming Lips are brilliant live.

Saw them live at Victorious festival in Southsea (pompey) a few years back. Great live band

Such an incredible show they put on, it's a real performance piece and not just musically. I didn't know a single song of theirs when I went to see them, in fact I still don't (laziness on my part) but absolutely loved their set.

Brooooce!

Has there ever been a song that sounds as incredible unplugged and quiet as when it absolutely rocks. On one of his last tours when he played albums in their entirety, he played Born to Run (my favourite) in Limerick - when the opening bars of this played, wow.
