I’m not sure what FIFA can do if the Premier League clubs just agree amongst themselves to ignore any “bans” handed down at the Brazilian FA’s behest. Just pick the players in question if they’re fit and ready - FIFA risk losing control of the game if they enforce anything at the expense of the biggest league in world football.

Elliott didn't play for the Under-21s, leading some people to decide that he's out until Xmas, despite it being deemed 'precautionary' by the majority of journo-types.

Our 'minor' and 'precautionary' injuries are usually a couple of weeks minimum to be fair.

Would be nice if we could get a settled midfield playing - been a revolvinh door job so far this season for various reasons....does not help with the fluidity and cohesion in there.

 

Hopefully will settle down soon.

Yes its early, yes its been due to circumstances beyond our control, but its happened and the point is it would be nice to see it settle....and it isn't gonna happen in the 4th game is it - getting it settled and set will help us greatly and help us with our cohesion and fluidity.

We need to make certain they’ve no straws left to clutch after the game.

 

They need to be stuffed to zip on the pitch. The away support needs to be at its absolute best, all inside/outside the ground provocation needs to be laughed off.
