Tbf when I first heard the intro track to sopranos I found it quite jarring.

not what I expected from a mafia show.

but yeah this isn’t great. I’m still looking forward to it though.

I wouldn't call The Sopranos a mafia show though? Crime drama maybe.

Agreed - fucking hate that song and it doesn’t fit

It's one of telly's greatest opening credits, IMO!

It was a bit of a mixed bag for me although I'm struggling to think of a series with great music right through. That Journey track at the end left a sour taste.

Genuinely never heard it til then, so don't mind it

LTW is right, when I heard it at the end of Sopranos it was perfection, because it was little known, it was re released after that and educationally subnormal women started putting 'just a small time girl' as their Facebook status, which I'd often reply to with the towns population and explain it wasn't a small town, but I digress, the music in the show is first class.

I thought it fitted quite well that song, although I don't like it and wouldn't listen to it otherwise. I always thought Glad Tidings when Tony killed cousin Tony was a fucking amazing choice.

Absolutely, I also love 'Rock the cass bah' when he's chasing Phil, and of course 'comfortably numb' when Christoper takes his last ride.

Although Carmela the wretched cunt playing Time to say goodbye 86 times does ruin everything.

I didn't watch The Sopranos until 2015, by which point the song had become more upsetting than the holocaust.

You wouldn’t call a show about an Italian-American crime family commonly referred to as the mafia, a mafia show? Sure it had drama but that’s a bit like saying SOA isn’t a biker gang show.

on the intro track, it certainly grew on me I admit and I  Also thought the show picked the music pretty well throughout. I didn’t like some of the tracks but they were all well placed.

this film was one I defo would have gone to the cinema for but I’m actually happy to watch it at home so I don’t have to deal with the general public.

Will it not miss out on awards if it doesn’t have a theatrical release? or I assume they will do a limited release allowing them to qualify.

There's no such thing as the mafia.

Maybe you can have beans on your nachos, you sick fuck.

Nah I'll have nachos with whey powder, modified potato starch, milk proteins, emulsifying salts (E452, E339), calcium phosphate, salt and added colour from beta carotene and paprika extract melted all over them. Can't wait.

Do they sell all those ingredients in Tesco? Wouldn't mind making that myself.
