Thiago is being linked with a return to Barcelona even though Xavi has a transfer budget of 10 Freddos and 2 packs of Pickled Onion Space Raiders.

Straight swap for either De Jong, Fati or Pedri and you have a deal.

They would be stupid enough to do that as well.

They'd throw in Demir as a sweetner for shits and giggles.

I think Havertz is quality, but the jury is definitely out on the others. Bellingham does look special though.

He's got quality, but I'm not sure if he's consistent enough, or even a guaranteed starter at Chelsea. Time will tell.

Chelsea have a squad where he is not. He has played in 10 of 11 league games and in all of their CL games.

He is top quality.

A lot of Chelsea fans don’t rate him. He’s one of those players who doesn’t seem to have a natural position and has to be shoehorned in.

He started 7 in the league (taken off before 70 in 4 of them) and 3 in the CL.

He has 3 goals and 1 assist from 14 appearances, including a total fluke at the Kop end.

If he's "top quality", so is Divok Origi.

So more money than us at least, we could probably raise enough funds from selling squad players to buy a Jive bar and a time share in a Freddo.

Should leave plenty over for further buys then.

Joking aside as disappointing as he has been so far we couldn't even begin to entertain it until the summer - we have been down to just 3 fit midfielders already this season.

Gini has gone now and our midfield has rotated a lot this year as Keita, Thiago, Ox and Jones have had to become more essential for us to rely on.

The problem is of course that it seems difficult to rely on Ox because he is shite and Keita and Thiago can't seem to put a run of games together and therefore there is more rotation and less chance to develop partnerships/understandings....which IMO is a big part of our defensive problems.

We need to work on our midfield in the summer in my view....probably be a good idea to see if we can start that work in Jan, but not sure we will.

Saw this on facebook. Don't know how accurate it is but we need to spend some fucking money on our midfield sometime soon.

Oh, and Everton are fucked.

It comes from Kieron Maguire. He's full of shit quite often (and fucking hates us), but he's usually pretty good with numbers.

Think they are based on last seasons figures but even so, we sold £52m worth of players and only spent £36m on Konate. We agreed to let Fulham pay us the £12m for Wilson next season as they would have breached FFP. It is still a £4m profit regardless to add onto the £273m.

I suppose we will make do with Origi and Minamino while Salah and Mane play in the AFCON and rely on Milner to fill in for Thiago, Keita and Oxlade Chamberlain when they get injured at different stages.

We only miss them for two league games in January don't we? (assuming they don't get released before the Chelsea game on the 2nd) Brentford home and Palace away. They probably wouldn't play cup games draw dependant. We don't have champions league till late Feb. Let's just hope none of them come back injured.

How the fuck can the mancs still have that much left when you look at what they spend compared to us?

I thought we had largely caught them revenue wise?

He is 22, scored the winner in a Champions League final and was the youngest player in the Germany squad starting every game and scoring 2 at Euro.

He is absolutely top quality.

Chelsea are trying to get rid of Timo Werner to bring in Adeyemi. I'd have him here. Unluckiest player going him. Fits our style of play perfectly.

I still can’t get over him saying he struggled when the crowd is too loud. He’d be fuck all use to us on a CL night if that’s still the case.

I think if they go when the countries are allowed to ask for them and they get to the final, they miss 8 games in total including 6 premier league games.

Oh and don't forget there's also south American world cup qualifiers in January too, so we lose our Brazilian lads too for a little while.
