We shouldn’t be afraid of playing anybody if we play to our best.

But there’s the rub.

Couple of seasons ago, we were the team nobody wanted to draw, now I’m not so certain that’s the case.

I agree, we need to up our game which sounds daft considering but it needs doing.

This "loss of form" seems to have crept up out of nowhere.

A fortnight ago we were breathing down City's neck and on for a quadruple.

I don’t necessarily think it’s a loss of form as such, we were playing at a high peak, very consistently two seasons ago, I just feel we don’t hit that peak as consistently, (while still being a very good football team it has to be said), and at this stage of the CL, and with the teams left in it and the level of technical skill on show, you have to be peak level pretty much all the time to progress and win.
We’re still bloody good though.

The only thing that's changed in the last couple of weeks is that Mo has hit a dry spell. As soon as he gets over that, it will be full speed ahead again.

Mo’s “dry spells” include goal vs Inter at san siro, match winner against Norwich and 2 against Leeds. Speak volumes of his level.

Why the fuck does anyone want to play United whether they're shit or not.

Quite happy never to play a domestic side in the CL ever again and see them all knocked out by clubs from abroad.

Because they're shit? I'd be well confident of beating them over two legs.

Normally I would agree, but we would steamroll them over two legs. It's as easy a tie as you'll get in the QFs.
