Fair play to a Chelsea there. We weren’t quite good enough. Today shows exactly why we need reinforcements up front. Mané was poor, and there was no option to add a 4th man up front 30 minutes out. As well as they played, the last half hour was reminiscent of games last year where we couldn’t break down Burnley/Brighton etc -  we needed another body in the box and we didn’t have an option. If Bobby’s injured, it’s back to Origi.

No he won't. Chelsea are right up there with City.  They don't get to take 3 points off us at home.  We might yet take 3 from them away.

Not a great second half but I don’t care what anyone says playing against 10 men and a top aide isn’t always easy especially when it happens bang on half time and the manger can reorganise 

It’s early in the season some teams are bang on it other aren’t hence why West Ham are doing great

Main things to take from this game:

- Taylor did his job, refereeing was 90/10, and we can thank VAR for the penalty

- Two good teams, both will be up there come May

- We didnt do enough in the second half to make sure we got the three points

- Harvey Elliott is a fucking brilliant player. Not a promising youngster, but a top class player

This. Its our old ailment - the inability to centrally penetrate a block. Everything has to come from wide areas which is fine if the wide attackers are on their game. If they aren't - this.

Unfair criticism for Mane who was instrumental in our goal. No one else did much of note.

Matip probably man of the match. Elliott was bright and doesn't look out of place.

I'm aware I often single Thiago out but he did nothing when he came on and always seems to pick the wrong pass or put the wrong weight on it. Annoying as fuck.
