Obviously all the world class players are being mentioned and rightly so but just going to throw a name out there in John Wark.

Yeah he's not fit to lace the boots of some of the names on this thread and he wasn't a great player on the ball,  but for a midfielder his goal scoring record for Ipswich was pretty special 256 appearances 94 goals including 14 in the 80-81 UEFA Cup which is still a tournament record. And then for us 28 goals in 70 appearances including three hat-tricks in 84-85 and was top scorer
