Recommended Posts

Handy that all their staff are working from home so you can only contact them by live chat which has a 30 minute to 1 hour wait.

They have ignored my travel time to Anfield. Early start if I am to comply.

wouldnt it have been better to stagger entry to each stand rather than force congestion at each turnstile in turn?

i see they have snook in photo id requirements very quietly

I wouldn't worry about it ... it is advice rather than being essential and is simply not enforceable.

If you have to travel and have already as likely 2 days before game got that travel arranged then just rock up when you do/can.

And the fucking rest!

Over two and a half hours yesterday.
My daughter, who’s had to change her email and phone number, has been trying to create a new password to access her Membership page for the last four days, so she could download the NFC pass and on the odd occasion she gets an email through to do this, she keeps getting told her passwords, despite using the criteria the club requires, are rejected.
I joined the memberships “chat” queue to get this sorted and was told, eventually, this password change problem was known and was an issue they’re working on, but because it affected the ticketing, I was then put in the queue for ticketing, for over two hours.

Eventually the girl there said if I transferred my ticket to my daughter from my F&F list, she’d get it anyway as she’s a registered member.

Seriously felt as though I was being fobbed off, not the operators fault I know as they’re at the front end of this shit show, but I’m seriously thinking of just giving my daughter my phone to take over as I’ve got little confidence of any transfer working currently and I don’t want to transfer the ticket away from me if it’s not going to get to her.

There's nothing in the mail saying you must arrive and get in the stadium for the stated time. The times look advisory dressed up as 'you should.'

I cannot see anyone being refused admission if they turn up outside of these times.

I'm on Android and it doesn't give any options to distribute the ticket - actually says that the 'pass' is not transferable!

You looking on your actual nfc pass or on the club site where your ticket history and that is?

The pass itself, had a look online and it has the option there.  That said, the Palace game is not appearing, neither are my autocup things on there.  Went ont the stupid chat thing, waiting about an hour and then it timed me out for inactivity.  Anything to do with tickets and our club is fucking shite.

I thought the distribute option was easier to use from club site.

The games get auto loaded each time....them not showing on history etc is no issue - it seems to be part of process.

My chelsea ticket disappeared off my purchase history this week but next day game was showing with seat no. etc on my virtual card thing in my google pay wallet....

I think I've received three 1,000+ word emails from them in the last few days. And that schedule for entering the stadium? Jesus Christ. Could they have overcomplicated this anymore? They'll have overwhelmed people with all of this information, which they won't have taken in (because they're not studying for an exam on it, are they?). They can fuck off with that entry schedule too. I'm not even going to be there tomorrow and it's pissing me off.

I'm just gonna head up to be in for 11-ish. Not ideal but I saw most of my mates at Norwich last week.

At least they've lowered the price of a beer inside. Hopefully supporters being in early will make a great atmosphere.

So, the ticket is downloaded to a phone.

So, all a mate needs to do is give you a phone and collect it off you afterwards?

Would that work, or have I missed something?

That's assuming they don't ID you at the turnstile.

You can transfer the ticket to your mate or vice versa and you'll get a downloadable pass sent to your email, that you'll then need to download that onto your phone.

The person who transfers the ticket will have their pass deactivated for just the next game.

If you follow the instructions step by step, you really can't go wrong.

In theory, if they pass you the phone with the downloaded ticket, it should work.

I don't know how you'd explain it to a steward if it didn't work.

Cheers, I'll ask again after a couple of games and see what's what.

I'm trying to sort a Palace ticket out.

I lost my drivers licence a few months ago. As in physically lost it, not had it taken off me. I only got round to ordering a new one this week.

Taking my passport to a game at Anfield feels excessive.

The blues have to take birth certificates to goodison to prove they were born not manufactured.

    • I’d have thought that was obvious myself.
    • When the Nazis came to power, the first anti-Jewish thing they brought in was the Civil Service Law which forbade Jews from working in the civil service or public office. A couple of years later, they banned Jewish doctors from treating non-Jewish patients. During the pandemic, all NHS doctors and nurses - that refused to be vaccinated - were fired. If you're a newly qualified nurse/ doctor, you can't practice medicine without mandatory COVID vaccination.   They then stopped Jews from being members of the Reich Ministry of Culture. The Nazis did this to stop them working in radio stations, in theatres, or producing artwork of any kind - ostensibly, taking their voice away from them. They also held mass bonfires to burn books by Jewish authors. David Icke had his youtube channel removed for questioning the official narrative of the virus. Lots of social media commentators have been de-platformed for similar things. Chinese doctors who challenged the WHO narrative were rounded up and disappeared.   The Nazis then boycotted Jewish businesses to weaken the Jewish people financially. Greece has brought in a law where unvaccinated people have to pay a 100 euro fine every month. Many countries are talking about fines for people going out if they are unvaccinated.   The Nazis then brought in the Nuremberg laws of 1935, which stripped Jews of German citizenship and started segregating them from the rest of society. They were forbidden from marrying non-Jews or having sexual relationships with them. We have a media that paints the unvaccinated as moronic, dangerous, stupid and most of all... selfish. Unvaccinated people are not allowed at sporting events, concerts, restaurants etc.    In 1938, the Reich Supreme Court declared that being a Jew was grounds for dismissal in any job. We've seen many private companies follow the governments lead and sack their staff if they are unvaccinated. How long until being unvaccinated is an official sackable offence in every job?   Jews are now required to carry papers. Their passports are marked with a red letter 'J' to differentiate them from non-Jews. The famous badges that depict the Star of David are brought in the following year. COVID passes are now necessary for travel. Private businesses can refuse entry if you don't have an 'up to date' COVID pass. Current and up to date has changed. The government initially promised COVID passes for all people who had double vaccine status. Now it requires a booster jab, and presumably, the next booster jab will invalidate the first, and so on. It's kind of similar to the way the Nazis would change the law every couple of months to make a Jewish persons papers invalid.    The Nazi's then sent 30,000 Jewish leaders to concentration camps. The Nazi's did this for the German people's protection, of course. Then the curfews started. And the rest, as you say, is history.
    • That's been coming for a while.
    • Yeah, talk about somebody making the most of their opportunity.
I still think being jaded after too much football hasn't helped Bobby in the last couple of years either, so hopefully we'll start to see more from him when we need him in January.
    • I had a very brief read of his twitter feed and I think it may be a clever parody account :    "i've wanted to be a girl but i've also wanted to be a boy and then other times wanted to be a hamster or something so perhaps the commonality is i want to transcend the physical limitations of this body and live up to my true potential as a 9th level spellcaster shapeshifter :P
