Ramsey’s time with England ended when Shelton flapped against Poland. 
Revie simply didn’t fancy him compared to Clemence. 
Robson’s two good tournaments were both ended by Shilton, first when he was outjumped by a midget, then when he was the weak link both in open play and then on penalties against Germany. 
For an international career that lasted four managers, that’s not a great record.
