Agreed. Stig made the right choice in not running the 2020s and 2030s tournaments.

I meant not prolong the voting for the decade winners beyond one round.

As for the losing steam point, it was pretty obvious that number of votes was starting to go down, debates were less passionate and threads were sinking quickly down the list, as I said, as fun as it was, it felt it ran its course and it was time to finish it and start another one.

Out of rep, but a tip of the hat for doing these and giving us something to bicker about when there's no footie on.

Cheers Mal, obviously I can't be held accountable for some of the worst shouts in cinema history but yeah that was enjoyable.

Star Wars is a 10/10 portrayal of the hero's journey that establishes and delivers through a fantastical new world brilliantly, technically one of the most influential productions ever. Also one of the best opening scenes in history.

That said I went for Casablanca.

Casablanca for me too. Star wars is definitely as you say, a great portrayal of the hero’s journey - something that the medium of film should be all about, but Bogey’s character in Casablanca turns out to be pretty selfless in the end as well. A bit of a hero in fact.

They certainly gave us something to get involved with, some great shouts, some not so great, but I enjoyed them.

Have some well earned rep.
