Rotten Tomatoes ratings:

Paddington 97%
Endgame 94%
Parasite 98%
The Big Short 89%

Just in case anyone was wondering how the wisdom of the GF measures up to that of people whose job it is to review films.

Superb.

Not about though is it, people on here are voting their preference, not some RT reviewer. Almost every voting round you see countless posters saying I'm voting for these film because they haven't seen the others, which may well be far better films.

I would have voted for The Big Short purely on the fact that I liked it and have not yet seen Parasite, maybe Parasite is the better film I'm not going to vote based on RT or IMDB ratings say.

In the end the final outcome is usually the most popular.

Evidently. But I'm just rebutting the criticism that those of us voting for films like Paddington and Avengers are somehow guilty of making infantile choices, when in fact we are in lockstep with the overwhelming majority of professional critics.
