I reckon tonight's our best chance of them dropping points actually. Brighton are athletic and disciplined enough to keep them at bay, as well as confident enough to keep the ball for (admittedly) short spells of the game.

You had to do it, didn't you.

Plenty of twists and turns in this one. Nothing changes for us, we have to keep winning. I think the Newcastle game is a pivotal one. They go to Leeds same day in the evening. The fortunes of both sides could change on that day.

West ham away, wolves away for them. No easy points there

It is so depressing to have such a brilliant team and to be denied the success it deserves by these cheats....and also the fact that need to be almost perfect to win title is ridiculous.

We currently have 3 pts less than Man Utd's treble winning team in 1999 managed in the league....WITH 6 FUCKING GAMES LEFT.....

And the total we get - probably 90 plus is highly likely to not be enough.

It's fucking ridiculous.

You’ll still have lazy commentators and fans claim that the Ferguson United teams are better because they “won titles”, but then British people never were capable of putting things into context.

The only way to beat this City side is to get way out in front and break their spirit, as we did in 19/20. Unfortunately, our poor start to the season - being fourth in November is never going to be sufficient in a league featuring City - gave them too much of a cushion.

Agree with this. It does feel like we've been robbed by this cheating club.

Tonight it'll be sold out, there are empty seats everywhere.

It is the jewel of the English footy crown being won in previous years by a truly awful abomination.

Saying that, let's stay positive. Lots of games to play.

At the end of this era we all want to be able to say stuff like, under Jurgen we won 3 leagues, 2 European cups, several domestic trophies etc, etc. That can happen. I still believe we'll win the title this season. Not a doubt in my mind.

Usually greatness has been measured by trophies - nobody cares about or remembers runners up.

If you asked people who is the greatest at most sports it will be those who won the most who get the most shouts.

It reminds me of when we were chasing them a few years back when we got 97 pts.

We kept winning, but they just kept winning too.

Hopefully a different ending this time - but it is so hard to see.
