Typical panic...they deserve to go down now...bring in that fat slug allardyce probably and then he fucks off end of season and they are left needed another manager and having to start from scratch in championship

Unlikely i know but how good would it be to see rafa go there and keep them up at the expense of the shite!

Could you imagine that it would be nirvana.

Don't really get what they're expecting to achieve by sacking him now. Can't see anyone else coming in and making much difference this late in the season. And although the style of football wasn't great, Dyche performed miracles keeping them in the premier league for so many years. Seems really shitty to dump him at the first sign of trouble.  I read an article a while back about them getting new owners, and it sounded like a leveraged buyout. Burnley seem to have very quickly gone from being a really well run club to the sort of basketcase the lower leagues seem to be filled with.

I’ve watched them a few times recently and have been gobsmacked just how clueless they’ve been.

Apart from against us I've watched them once, it was a stunning powerhouse display, the opposition to put it midly where absolutely shite.

Lovely place.

However, from visiting that ground in 2017, I can confirm it is in no way, shape or form fit to hold a European Final.

Especially if it’s West Ham v Rangers.

It's probably the third best stadium in the city.

How many managers have been sacked after losing to Norwich this season? Dyche getting the sack now makes Jurgen Klopp the longest-serving manager of all the current top flight clubs.

Norwich have won five, followed by the sackings of one Norwich manager and three opposition managers.

Ralph Hasenhuttl lived to tell the tale.

I see Xavi is complaining about the Eintracht Frankfurt fans having 30,000 tickets and making the game feel like a final with half the stadium divided.

They sell tickets at various outlets across the city and unless it's against Real Madrid you're pretty much guaranteed to get one. The majority of Barcelona fans would have turned their noses up at that game last night and not bothered because it wasn't a big Champions League game.

I went in 2016 against Monchengladbach and loads of tickets were available on the day and the attendance was only 67,000 as Barcelona had qualified already.

Xavi is right. I wonder how many of those 30,000 whoppers went to their group game against Antwerp.

I couldn’t believe how easy it was to get a ticket when we beat them 2-1 in 2006 when Rafa was manager. Taxi up to the ground and able to buy a ticket from their ticket office no problem.

Was flicking so I missed most of the explanation but I’m pretty sure Sky had the kick off to the Luton v Forest match delayed due to their technical difficulties.

Players in the tunnel, ready to go.

I know their money talks, but feels a bit shit to me.

To be fair I'd be fuming if I paid for BT/Sky and I missed the beginning of a match because of their technical issues.

I get that.

Probably living on a different planet but my sense of unease was more about the power they have over the game.

A ‘you’ll start when we’re ready’ attitude, when the players and fans in the ground are good to go is distasteful to me. I know the referees have been watching for a signal for years before blowing the whistle to start in televised matches but this felt a bit different.

Having said that, I’d probably be glad if I was settled at home waiting to watch one of our games. Hypocritical fucker that I am.

The US feed for the Benfica match was on the main network (CBS). The audio was fucked for about 15 minutes so they had Thierry Henry and Carra calling the game from the studio until it was fixed.

I switched to CBS as my  (cough) streams are completely wank at the moment.

Was pretty good
