Chelsea have a strong squad. If it's not Kovacic Sunday, it's Jorginho. If it's not Ziyech, it's Mount. They're all good players, mostly interchangeable.

Assuming the 2 lads are injured the bench suddenly becomes weak. Jorginho and Mount come in and it only leaves them with players the manager doesn't fancy.

Just saw that they both went off injured.  Were they bad injuries? That cunt

Kante is always at peak fitness against us. Pity he didn't pick up a slight broken toe or some other non life threatening injury

Kante could break his leg in four places on a Wednesday and still play against us on a Saturday and put in one of his 10/10 performances that he saves up for us.

I think Kepa starts for them.

Their 11 will be strong (aside from the keeper) but their bench as No2 said is weak enough if Ziyech and Kovavic are out. He will probably bring in Jorginho and Mount for the 2 injured. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he starts Werner instead of Pulisic.

If we play as we can play, we win.

And that goes for pretty much any team we play against, City included.

To be fair we never seem to hit the potential way we can play that often. We and the opposition make a match out of most games. We could make playing against prime Barcelona and beating them look the same as beating bottom of the league Norwhich but as long as we still win its great if not for my blood pressure. Were competitive.  It seems plain stupid to say it about this side but we need to convert more of our dominant moments into goals. We're at the point were we have to critique the finer details because generally we are spoilt, this is a great team that's achieved less because a country bought a club and cheats

We could start by not ballooning half our shots over the bar into row z.

You just fucking knew they'd bend over for this shower of cunts, they couldnt wait, could they? This report seems to suggest they wore it without permission against Palace?

Chelsea will reportedly be allowed to wear the Club World Cup badge on their shirts for the rest of the season after the Premier League accepted their request.

The Champions League holders won the competition for the first time this month after beating Palmeiras 2-1 in the final in Abu Dhabi.

They then wore the badge celebrating their success in Saturday's 1-0 victory at Crystal Palace in the Premier League, but many believed it was just a one-off occurrence.

However, The *** claim the Blues have been granted permission to have the badge printed on their shirts for the remainder of the league season.

The report claims top-flight bosses believe allowing the west London side to display the fact they are world champions on their strips is positive for English football.

But the rules - which banned changes to a kit during the season - nevertheless seem to have been skewed, and the news could well cause ire among Liverpool and Manchester United fans.

Liverpool were only allowed to wear the badge once in a home Premier League clash against Wolves in December 2019, just eight days after they had won the tournament following a 1-0 extra-time victory against Flamengo in Doha.

United meanwhile were refused such permission altogether after they became the first English club to win the tournament in December 2008 following victory against Ecuadorian outfit LDU Quito in Yokohama, Japan.

The badge was also worn by Chelsea's players for their 2-0 victory at home against Lille in their first-leg last-16 tie in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, with UEFA imposing no such ban.

It is also understood Chelsea could also have the badge on their shirts in the FA Cup if they apply for special permission from the FA.

But the first league game in which they will wear it with Premier League permission will be away to Burnley on 5 March.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are among other European sides to have worn the badge after Club World Cup success and Chelsea will now be allowed to wear it until the end of the next FIFA tournament, the date for which has yet to be decided.

The world champions patch is only allowed to be printed on first-team shirts, with FIFA banning it from use on training gear.

'As per the usage guidelines, the winning team can wear the FIFA World Champions Badge from the day it becomes champions up to and including the final of the next edition of the tournament,' FIFA explain.

'The badge may only be used on the current official team playing shirts.

'That means that the FIFA World Champions Badge may not be used on previous [or] historical versions of the team shirts, training jerseys, tracksuits, training tops or any other products.'
