Sad news from the West Ham game , Ogbonna has done his ACL.

Am I alone in being surprised that considering they are supposed to be the absolute elite of sports science and on fantastic remuneration , the medical staff at PL clubs seem a bit shit when firm decisions need to be made , and are so cavalier when removing injured players off the pitch.. I could tell that the Ogbonna one was nasty just by the replay of his twist and was absolutely flabbergasted when he came back on. He probably got lucky that Jota elbowed him and got him off the pitch. Was amazed when Virgil trudged unaided the whole perimeter at Goodison last season and on the cricket the other night, Jason Roy hopped off the pitch with a calf tear. The concussion protocols are a shitshow as well.

Shite news for him. You're right, really poor stuff that he was allowed to continue after the initial injury.
