It looked a pen but on replays he kicks his own foot even if James is leaning on him a bit so I think VAR got it right.

He was definitely off, question is did he obstruct the goalie in any way. Just seemed a bit odd that noone talked about it. Looked a pretty lengthy check...

You guys will all be kicking yourself for missing this- I stuck talksport on when driving home and Danny Murphy and Andy Goldstein announced- "coming up, how important is Mason Mount to Chelsea- call in now!"

I listened for approx 1 billionth of a second before I had to switch to Classic FM to calm my nerves after such a furious debate.

*I think Chelsea fans probably switched off as well to be fair

Watched bits and pieces of a few matches today, and the quality of finishing is just terrible.

Wide open net missed time and time again, or players too afraid to have a go with their wrong foot when in with a clear chance.

Pay Mo whatever the hell he wants, as his cut-rate replacement isn't out there.

I'll chip in.

The dozy twats really think they have a chance to entice Jurgen to take over if reports in BBC Gossip,  El Nacional via the Mirror are to be believed. I wont link to the Mirror because the manc twats are spinning it as 'Jurgen's exit plan' and using his quotes he'll see how the land lies in a couple of years to decide extending his stay.

Daniel Sturridge has just signed for my home town club Perth Glory in the A-League. Started with a vague rumour but gathered steam rapidly over the past 48 hours. Glory have history with making moves like this having also signed Robbie Fowler. But I think Dan is probably in better physical shape than Robbie was at the time.

Side note is that the club also signed Brad Jones earlier in the off-season who is a Perth boy and always wanted to end his career at the club. He is now the ripe old age of 39.

Getting 2012/3 vibes with these signings.
