I am not convinced it is going to work out for them.

 

Look how far off Arsenal, Tottenham and even Man Utd are off winning anything and off the top 2 and they are all streets ahead of Newcastle.

 

Then they've got to on top of closing those gaps close an absolutely massive further gap to Man City and Us.

 

My view is this whole Newcaslte thing ends in tears....just got this feeling about it.

 

This isn't like when Chelsea won the lottery and other clubs had no money or even like when Man City won it....The clubs at the top now are stronger than ever, and FFP will be a big, big issue.

It’ll be the same as City, for me. 
 

By that, I mean that the worst thing that can happen is them getting into the Champions League. If they do that, they’ll jib of Howe and get a better manager in and will also be able to attract a better calibre of player. 
 

If they don’t make the CL in the next 4 to 5 seasons, then it might end in tears. Or mutilation and bin bags.

Not much between Arsenal and Spurs, in terms of consistency over a season. They’ve won the same amount of games.

It would be just like Spurs to drop points against Norwich, however, a draw against them will secure 4th on GD.
