For the first 15 minutes of the match, my commentators were talking as if United were on a run of ten unbeaten.

Talking about Rangnick taking the job permanently, an off-the-leash Fred, etc.

It was as if the match against City didn't happen.

It was quite enjoyable listening to them slowly regain consciousness of just how shite United are over the following 75 minutes.

Chris waddle was saying on five 5 they could potentially win it.

As funny as it was to watch Man Utd go out, I absolutely despise the way Atletico play. Absolute top drawer shithousing but god do I hate them for it. I hope we get them in the next round and smash them (I also hope we don't get them so we're not on the end of the shithousing...)

Just seen the score, 2 nights in a row I get a nice surprise! But dont worry mancs, your stadium's getting rebuilt \ expanded \ upgraded \ whatever, to keep you happy.

I said a few weeks ago that they are now just a bigger version of Everton.

The similarities between the direction of the two clubs is uncanny.

Their back four tonight was

Dalot  £19m - £25k

Varane £34m - £340k

Maguire £80m - £190k

Telles £15.4m - £93k

And they switched off to let Atletico score.

Not great.
