And another!

Quote

Sherrif Tiraspol witnessed disturbing scenes when winger Adama Traore went down clutching his chest in Wednesday night's Champions League clash with Real Madrid.

The Mali attacker committed to a 50/50 challenge on the touchline with Real Madrid's Nacho Fernandez and when the ball went out of play Traore appeared under duress.

Traore, 26, turned to walk away from the ball, which had gone out for a throw-in, in the 77th minute when he immediately became uncomfortable, clutching his chest before slumping to the turf.

Sorry to link the Mail, I'd prefer not to, but oddly it wasn't mentioned on the BBC's report of the match...

That side that Spurs lost to are the fifth best team in Slovenia.

In the Euro Index of top flight club sides they are 378th. 25 places below Shamrock Rovers.

Their closest equivalents in the English leagues were Burton and Accrington Stanley.

Never go full Spurs.

One of Italy and Portugal will definitely miss out on next year's World Cup. The Italians have been drawn against North Macedonia while Portugal will face Turkey, with the winners of each tie facing off to decide who qualifies.

Scotland or Ukraine vs Wales or Austria

Russia or Poland vs Sweden or Czech Republic

Italy or North Macedonia vs Portugal or Turkey

Games will be played in March.

Is it to much to ask to see Ronaldo miss out of going to the world cup.

It's looking increasingly likely that Newcastle have recruited Howe to get them out of the Championship first time of asking next season. He's not going to keep them up.

Wonder how much they'll spend in January and who they can attract?

Countinho has been mentioned as have Laczette, Kessi, Henderson (GK), Tarkowski, Gosens, Van De Beek, Icardi and plenty of others.

They can spend the best part of £200m and be fine for FFP.

The above is a sensible list, and would see them through the season and make a decent push for Europa the season after.
