I hate Utd winning as much as the next man but one thing I know after seeing that game today is that Utd ain’t winning this league or any other with Gollum in charge 

You could give nine prime Pele, Cruyff, Maradona, Messi, Zidane, Baresi and Banks and he’d still find a way to fuck it up. The only thing he’s good at is turning decent players into shite one’s .

 

I for one hope he never leaves

I’m watching Gini play for PSG. I can confirm he looks less handsome in blue.

 

Even the home fans (Reims) are mainly just passing time until Messi gets on.

 

Mbappe scored a nice header. He’s one we should monitor. 
 

Edit: The young French prospect has added a second, signalling the arrival of Messi. Neymar hooked.

Just looking at the next set of fixtures to come after the interminable gap during the international break, and I see Everton are at home to Burnley in the final match, on the Monday. I await with interest to see how they will/would react when Barnes rattles through three of their biggest players putting them out for weeks or months on end. Will he be castigated like van Dijk was for assaulting Rodriguez and then Pickford? Or treated like their heroic goalkeeper, who bravely battled on regardless?
