No Glazers protest today then.

They've got some shiny new toys and are winning a game so the kids are happy today.

Once they lose a game they'll all be sulking again despite the Glazers spending an absolute fortune on players and wages.

Not the worst comparison.

Significantly wealthier but yeah.

Different era of course, but if I recall correctly, we outspent them over the course of the decade while getting little return in comparison. We were scrambling around looking for the difference maker / ‘final piece of the puzzle’ whereas they had Ferguson and an already superb set of players to tweak when necessary. It wasn’t really until the 2000s that they started throwing silly money around.

There's nothing I've seen today that's any different to how they've been since Fergie left.

They'll produce these results when playing well, but lose points when they're not.

That's what we were for 30 years.

To be champions is to win when things go against you.

This is even more the case now that City have set the bar at 90 points.

Scored a cracking goal but Leeds have been shite. All over the place at times. Some of that’s been down to some decent play by the Mancs, but most of their problems have been of their own making.

Exactly. They seem to have learned nothing from last season. Wide open, constantly turning the ball over. Look good going forward, but if you play man-for-man against opponents who are better than you throughout the team, you’re going to come unstuck most of the time

Robbie Lyle was accused by Ray Parlour of wanting Arsenal to lose, which I'm certain is complete bollocks from a company yes-man. On the other hand, I'm also certain Robbie is exploiting some seriously vulnerable people. I'm sure Redmen TV (for example) would have no problem finding Liverpool fans eager to make a show of themselves for a global audience for free, but they choose not to because Paul Machin has a conscience.

That’s all fair, but even at a more fundamental level than that... I’m not a vulnerable person, but I know full well if I was shown a video of some of the stuff I do and say watching the reds on TV I’d be embarrassed and want it deleting, not playing again next week live to thousands.

They had that 'I deal in absolutes' lad on red men for a while and while I don't think he's Claude/TY levels of vulnerable (or vulnerable at all) it was the closest they got to the aftv shit show.

Generally there output is excellent and they're doing stuff that no fan channel comes close to.
