I coached the lad who scored the Aussies second for a couple of years when he was 14/15.

I said back then that the kid is an exceptional talent. Has an extremely low centre of gravity, quick, creative, uses both feet, natural finisher but he left Sydney FC to join the oil twats at Melbourne City (Man City owned) this season. Was definitely man of the match in the Grand final here and is only 19.

I think he has a real chance of playing at a high level

It seems to be coming from a S*n 'journalist' article, based on a guest overhearing something at Kanes brothers wedding.

If that's what City are genuinely offering, then that's fucking mental! They won't be able to hide behind their pretence that they don't spend big on transfers!

Anyone else noticed the small size of the mancs new shirt sponsor logo? For fucking years, they've had massive shirt logos that seemed to take up the whole of the chest area compared to ours and other PL clubs.

They've had Sharp, Aon, Chevrolet that all seem to dwarf everyone elses. Now, their shirt logo look about the size you'd get on a replica kit!

Have the PL finally pulled them for flouting the size of their shirt sponsor's logo?

The Premier League at least have their first dedicated VAR official in 2021-22. Lee Mason, who retired as a match official at the end of last season, will continue working for the Premier League from Stockley Park with the aim of improving levels of consistency.

Improving levels of consistency in arriving at the wrong decision. They’ve also been faffing about with the handball rule for attackers in the penalty area again. They have improved the consistency of changing shit up so it’s hard to know what’s handball and what isn’t. Every year now. They’ve got it down to a fine art.

Expect the new handball rules to vary week by week and them somehow pulling out a reason to explain how the VAR official did his job properly and it’s the rest of us that are clueless biffs.

So if they sign Varane then that's impressive, but they still seem a few signings off the pace when you factor in injuries and tiredness. Their first XI will be a handful though.

De Gea

Shaw

Varane

Maguire

Wan Bissaka

Fred

Pogba

Sancho

Fernandes

Rashford

Cavani

Subs

Lingard

Greenwood

Van De Beek

McTominay

Bailly

Dalot

Martial

Telles

They’re still nothing special even with those 2 new signings.
