Sepp came off the bench at halftime with the score at Preston 1 Hull 1. The visitors would go on to score 3 second-half goals to ease to a 4-1 victory at Deepdale.

Glatzel played 64 minutes before being replaced. Callum McMananaman scored the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute. The home side were reduced to 10 men in the 86th minute when Merrie was dismissed for a straight red.

Jaros starts for St. Pats in their game at Dundalk this afternoon.

Adam Lewis not in the squad for Livingston today as they host the mighty Dons - Aberdeen. Livi have only named 5 subs from a possible 7, so Lewis must be injured.

Both lads played the full 90 for their respective sides.

Preston cruised through with a 3-0 win at Mansfield, but Tranmere crashed out against Oldham 4-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw in the 90 minutes.

Glatzel provided the assist for Tranmere's first goal, 5 minutes before the break. Rovers would then double their lead 6 minutes into the second half. However, the home side got back into the game in the 59th minute before grabbing the equaliser courtesy of an own goal in the 68th minute.

Former Liverpool youngsters Jay Spearing & Sam Hart converted from the spot for Tranmere & Oldham respectively to get the shootout underway, with Glatzel then seeing his penalty saved to hand the advantage to the home side.

Oldham missed their 3rd penalty to give Tranmere hope, but the visitors would miss once more with their 4th penalty of the shootout, and this time Oldham took full advantage, converting their final 2 penalties either side of a successful 5th penalty for Tranmere.

Good for Glatzel to get the full 90 and nice to see him grab an assist, but of course, the saved penalty in the shootout will have taken the shine off his performance a touch.

Excellent news, hopefully ones in the works for Cain and Dixon-Bonner too.

Yes - Very good move for Leighton. His boyhood club, so he should be very well received. Added to my spreadsheet.

Sepp van den Berg (Preston) - Another start and another 90 minutes in Preston's 1-0 away defeat against Huddersfield. Scored an unfortunate own-goal in the 74th minute to give the home side the 3 points.

Paul Glatzel (Tranmere) - On the bench for Tranmere as they travelled to Swindon this evening. Came off the bench in the 72nd minute with the game ending in a 0-0 draw at the County Ground.

Vitezslav Jaros (St. Pats) - St. Pats suffered a blow to their title aspirations following a 3-1 defeat away at Finn Harps on Friday evening. Another 90 for Jaros, but he'll obviously be disappointed to have conceded 3 on the night.

There are starts for a number of our loanees today, with Clarkson, Davies, van den Berg & Glatzel all starting for their respective teams in the Championship and League 2.

Still no Adam Lewis for Livingston as he continues his recovery from injury.

Jakub Ojrzynski also started today as Caernarfon travel to TNS - Currently 3-1 to TNS with around 35 minutes played.

C.D. Mirandes play their first home fixture of the season on Monday evening, so Anderson Arroyo will be hoping to feature for a little longer than he did on his debut last time out.

Leighton Clarkson (Blackburn) - Started and played 67 minutes for Blackburn as they lost 2-1 at home against West Brom. Was heavily involved in the home side's goal as it was his through-ball that Sam Johnstone played against the oncoming Ben Brereton who blocked the attempted clearance before rolling into an empty net. As close to an assist for Clarkson without actually being an assist. Generally well received debut for Leighton, so a good start to his loan spell.

Ben Davies (Sheffield United) - Full 90 for Davies as the Blades lost 2-1 at home to Huddersfield. The home side thought they had grabbed a point when Billy Sharp equalized in stoppage time, but the visitors grabbed a winner just a minute or so later to take the 3 points.

Sepp van den Berg (Preston) - Another full 90 for Sepp as Preston picked up a 1-0 home win against Peterborough. Preston will be thankful for Sepp this week, as he made up for his own-goal last time out with a clearance off the line in this game to keep the score at 1-0.

Paul Glatzel (Tranmere) - Another start for young Glatzel before being replaced in the 56th minute as Tranmere fell to a 1-0 home defeat against Newport.

Jakub Ojrzynski (Caernarfon Town) - A full 90 for Jakub away at TNS, one of the tougher teams in the Welsh Premier league. Ojrzynski would pick the ball out his net 5 times, with the game finishing 5-3 to the hosts.

Only 1 of our loanees was in action in mid-week, with Sepp van den Berg in action for Preston at Morecambe in the EFL Cup.

Sepp van den Berg (Preston) - Another full 90 for the young Dutch defender and another positive contribution as Preston ran out 4-2 winners away at Morecambe. Sepp bagged himself his first goal in senior football with a tap in from no more than a yard out. Also picked up a booking late in the game.

More good news for Sepp today, as he has been called up for the Dutch Under 21 squad for the first time.

Jakub Ojrzynski (Caernarfon Town) - Full 90 for Jakub in the Cymru Premier League as 10 man Caernarfon suffered a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Newtown.

Vitezslav Jaros (St. Pat's) - Full game for the young Czech keeper in this evening's FAI Cup game away at Cork City. The tie finished 1-1 after 90 minutes, thanks to 2 very late goals.

St. Pat's thought they had the tie won when they converted from the spot in the 89th minute, but the home side grabbed an equaliser 5 minutes into added time to make it 1-1 and force extra time.

The tie would go to penalties after no further goals in the additional 30 minutes.

Jaros would save Cork's third penalty of the shoot-out after they had put their 2nd penalty over the bar, which allowed St. Pat's to win the tie 4-1 on penalties and progress to the quarter-finals.
