I'm not really interested in the superhero stuff, but as far as Star Wars is concerned I very nearly nominated Rogue One.

One I definitely should have nominated is First Man which is a superb film. No clue why I didn't think of it.

Haven't seen oblivion, but thought edge of tomorrow deserves a nod as it's exactly the kind of Hollywood big budget film I want to see. Original story (i.e. not a franchise or remake), fun concept, nails the delivery. 

 

Liman makes some really good movies.

I'm too late to the party here but i'm amazed Sing Street hasn't been nominated, a cracking little feel good film set in 80's  Dublin.

 

And in case Stig allows late nominations...
