Apocalypto, the only film from the group I remember enjoying and Gran Torino, which isn't really good but is less annoying than others that I've seen.

Didn't see the German film, Dead Man's Shoes and I think Moon.

There Will Be Blood I remember thinking this film is only about how great an actor DDL is, and the other one too, look, look.

There is only one weak film here,Apocalypto, and I only say that because I havent seen it. All the rest are excellent.

That's certainly an interesting way of approaching things.

'I've never seen that so it must be shite'.

Weakest group of the round. Gran Torino and Dead Mans Shoes for me. There Will Be Blood started great but just didn't seem to go anywhere, it just got mental.

I disagree with you on virtually everything but when it comes to films our tastes are very similar

I've never got the massive love in for Dead Mans Shoes.  It's a decent movie, but that's all.  It seems to live off one or two "hard man revenge" moments that people all show the videos of.  I do love Paddy Considine though. He's excellent.

I went with There will be blood and Shaun of the Dead.  But I could easily have gone with Oh Brother and Gran Torino.  Good group.
