I think when I first started hearing people call their mum & dad "the rents" was when I first started getting symptoms of depression and searching videos about serial killers on youtube.

They never shorten film things like film titles, I watched a documentary on Dr Strangelove or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. And the people commenting would keep on saying the full film title.

 

But then they’ll call Lego Legos.
