At the risk of sounding like a nonce, I think Toy Story is a brilliant film, clever idea, great characters and some serious adult themes wrapped up in a kids movie. Deserves far more than 4 votes.

The poll has only been running for an hour or so.

Think we should scrap the whole tournament and have a Dumb & Dumber vs Kingpin vote off.

As well as Dumb & Dumber I voted for Trainspotting as it’s the perfect film about friendship.

What did you think of Trainspotting 2 mate?

Not watched it since it came out tbh. From what I remember the ending was a bit shat, seemed to lose its way. Overall enjoyed it though. You watched the Creation stories yet? That was similar but with a even more shat ending.

I didn't mind it but the fact that the bizzies didn't just go and lift Begbie from his own home after he escaped done my head in! Had some good scenes in it though and the scene where Renton first goes to Spuds is pretty powerful.

Yeah I enjoyed Creation Stories.

Tough, tough group.  I've gone for Silence of the Lambs (a worthy winner of the Big Five Oscars) and Toy Story (in which the groundbreaking animation technology almost takes a back seat to the story and characters - as it should be) because both are so repeatedly enjoyable.

As much as I'd love to piss off the old, old, miserable, whining bastards amongst us, neither Toy Story nor the Lion King get in for me.

Glengarry Glen Ross and Trainspotting for me. All hail, Mamet and Welsh.

Toy Story obviously the most important film of the bunch, mind.
