If only there was somebody, anybody, even remotely funny or likeable or appealing, then Succession might not be such a chore to get through. It's through sheer will power and stubbornness that I'm now determined not to let this exercise in back-slapping mediocrity beat me.

 

The only, and I do mean only, character whom I do not hate is the idiot tall wanker's grandfather, Logan's brother.

 

Like Fawlty Towers minus the warmth, charm and humour.

Watched the 1st 5 episodes of series 1 and after a week off, I just can’t motivate myself to watch anymore. She’s going mad at me cos she was enjoying it. I don’t wanna go back through this thread in case of spoilers but what’s the consensus here?

Yeah that cracked me up. Toms impression of Greg earlier on was funny as fuck as well. And yes, Shiv was all sorts of sexy in this weeks

If Shiv was Scouse she's be working in a laundrette.  Not a good looking women imo.  Tom is hilarious though, as is Greg.  They both get the best lines in the series.

No way.  Just seen something on another thread which reminded me, she looks like Mel Smith.  Greg scrabbling around for some protection and getting loads of bad faith offers from every cunt was tremendous.

The nastiness between the siblings was on another level in this week’s episode. Roman in particular was brutal with Shiv at the end. I have a feeling he’ll be getting his comeuppance in the next few episodes.

Superb again, more hilarity between Greg and Tom. Kendall being an absolute tosser of a human being. Roman on form and the new love of my life Comfrey (One of Kendalls PA team)
