It's a grower. I gave up the first time but it's top class once it gets into its stride.

It's nowhere near as good as it's cracked up to be imo, hardly any likeable characters at all and the flange factor is low.

For me, the first half of season one was decent. Once I got into the flow of the show and started to understand the characters, the second half of season one was enjoyable and left me wanting more.

 

7.5/10

 

Season two was exceptional. Some of the best television of the last decade.

Think I'll give it another two episodes but after that if it's still not grabbed me I'll give it up for now. Not in the mood for a slog at the moment but may return to it in future.

Given HBO Max is coming to the UK, not sure when Sky will get it.

It's once a week as it airs that way on HBO.

 

HBO Max isn't planned for the UK at the moment because of their deal with Sky.

 

Succession will air Monday night in the UK, the same as every other prestige Sunday night HBO show.

I was explaining this to a fella in work earlier, he's never seen it but heard me mention it so asked if it was any good. I said the best thing about it is every single one of the main characters is a cunt. Shivs amazing.
